As an initiative to promote the research on antibiotic resistance, and to provide visibility to the activities promoted by the PREVENT IT project, the University of Milan has organized a public event during the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week. Conducted on 17 November 2022, the workshop introduced the role of vaccination in preventing AMR, presenting the scenario of the commercialization of new antibiotics, and illustrating best practices in the sustainable prescription of antibiotics. The event has also hosted innovative research findings focusing on ABR in Italian prisons. The activity was promoted and organized by an interfaculty team involving the most brilliant scholars working on ABR at the University of Milan.
