The core PREVENT IT awareness campaign mission is to promote safe and preventive practices tackling Antibiotic Resistance (ABR). In fact, Antimicrobial Resistance can be the cause of the upcoming pandemic. The pandemic would be caused by inappropriate practices that most people follow without knowing their life-threatening consequences. Such practices include taking antibiotics for minutest problems, not following doctors’ prescriptions, altering the course of antibiotics by themselves, etc.

PREVENT IT first awareness video “Krishna and the Superbugs” outreached over 150K views on Youtube! 

In line with the vision of the campaign, the team of consortium partner AmritaVV from Kochi developed 5 short animated videos related to the use and misuse of Antibiotics. These videos are shown in the premises of AVV hospital in order to outreach the maximum capacity of public viewers.
