The 12th Annual Global Week-2022 was organized at Chitkara University from 10th October to 14 October 2022. The Annual Global Week is an excellent platform for internationalizing the student-learning experience. It extensively promoted the university’s priority mandate of boosting collaborated teaching and blended learning across borders. More than 75 eminent and distinguished professors from around 40 prestigious partner universities worldwide were at the Global Week to foster extensive education and learning mobility engagements.
As a part of the global week, the Department of Nursing, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, organized the workshop on ‘Health Literacy’ for BSc. Nursing 3rd Semester students. Ms. Olga Greshuni, Coordinator, Maastricht University took sessions on the communication process in Nursing care, Health literacy regarding antibiotics, etc. Students also indulged in practical case-based scenarios to learn the core concepts better. Sessions ended with an evaluative presentation by all the students focusing on the practical aspects of patient care by nurses.
